LAWS CONCERNING LEAD PAINT

 

 

                The reverse side is a copy of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter III, Section 197, dealing with duties of owners of premises in which dangerous levels of lead paint are detected. 

                As an owner of premises located in the State of Massachusetts, you are responsible to have a lead paint inspection preformed if a child or children under six years of age occupies or will occupy the premises. If the inspection results determine dangerous levels of lead exist, you must remove or cover the paint, plaster or other materials as prescribed under Massachusetts General Laws and Regulations.
